In the last week of July, I’ll be on the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail (BVRT) and so I need to hit my beats within three weeks. This means I need to hard wrap up my unfinished work from June … and May … To be fair, June has been nothing but punches for me and so I’m not doing too bad considering, but I don’t want to fall behind any more than I have (ง •̀_•́)ง
What I’m wrapping up in June
- writing the first drafts of Volume 1 for Say Nope to the Trope
- current word count: 35,579/48,000
- writing the first draft for Dual Wielding: Blade’s Gauntlet
- current word count: 68,506/96,000
- returned reader feedback at the end of the month and plotting to proofing chart for Rini & Butler
What I’m doing in July
- editing the first drafts of Volume 1 for Say Nope to the Trope
- uploading the first drafts to start the changelog process
- beginning the editing prep for Dual Wielding: Blade’s Gauntlet
- if I’m still having issues finding time and motivation for this, I will likely put it off until the next writing block phase to release some of the stress around me. Know your limits!
- beginning the final proof of Rini & Butler in preparation for publish
- getting the final iterations of the required files ready for Rini & Butler to upload before I head off on the BVRT
What I’m hoping for in July
- I find the time and energy to smash out the remaining parts of the first draft for Dual Wielding: Blade’s Gauntlet “( – ⌓ – )
- learn how to better use social media (⌒_⌒;)
- the final proofing for Rini & Butler goes well and I remain on track for my publishing timeline
- a little more stability in life
