Butler is an Omega-5, a new model service-droid that is designed for flawless assistance in one’s day-to-day. His core law forbids him to harm, or allow harm to come to, humans.
Rini is a kid on the street who’s trusts and listens to no one. Her primary instinct is to eat, run, fight and sleep.
When the pair meet eyes on a rainy night, Butler’s core law engages in a way that no one expects, and causes the pair to enter a tumultuous relationship that starts to bring unease to the world around them.

I started Rini & Butler in 2020, taking a writing prompt to inspire a writing assessment for university. It ended up becoming a full length novel by the end of the year.
In 2026, I finished editing the sixth draft of the novel.
