Hi there! I’m Edald Hopfield ヾ(＾∇＾)
I’ve just finished Preptober, preparing myself for a month of drafting Dual Wielding: Blade’s Gauntlet as the new cycle comes in. I am also running another “writing retreat” in my lounge room for the first week of May, hoping to smash through the bulk of writing!
I also realise I haven’t properly re-introduced myself and there have been a lot of changes (ᵕ—ᴗ—)
- I write mostly fantasy but enjoy exploring all genres
- I live in Meanjin | Brisbane, Australia
- I would rather sip on iced coffee and write all day (wouldn’t we all), but I work in retail
- I have a background in publishing
- For the first time since I was fourteen, I believe I can do this! ᕙ( •̀ ᗜ •́ )ᕗ
- I fumble my way through social interactions but I’m getting better and more eager to get along with other writers
- My pronouns are they/them and I’m just a little lizard wizard causing mayhem. In fiction.
