I present to you: my Cycle 26 Reading List!
Yes, some of these were supposed to be read in the last cycle (ᵕ—ᴗ—)
The List
1. She Who Became the Sun, Shelley Parker-Chan
2. Outback Court Reporter, Jamelle Wells
3. Before the Coffee Gets Cold, Toshikazu Kawaguchi
4. Memoirs of a Geisha, Arthur Golden
5. Solitaire, Alice Oseman
6. Design, Alison Page & Paul Memmot
7. Children of Virtue & Vengeance, Tomi Adeyemi
8. The Dictionary of Lost Words, Pip Williams
9. Artemis, Andy Weir
10. Heavenly Tyrant, Xiran Jay Zhao
11. The Inheritance, Robin Hobb & Megan Lindholm
12. Bullshit Jobs, David Graeber
I’ve read the Children of Blood and Bone (Tomi Adeyemi) and Iron Widow (Xiran Jay Zhao) already.
I’ve read the Heartstopper series (Alice Oseman) and have also read The Martian (Andy Weir).
I’ve read Songlines (Margo Neale & Lynne Kelly), which is part of the same series as Design.
Bullshit Jobs was recommended by my therapist and the rest are popular books that I’ve been interested in for a while.
In the future, I want to focus on including more local reading in my lists and explore indie authors more. These are all books I already have and so really should read (⌒_⌒;) I’m not supposed to go to Lifeline Bookfest without supervision.
