Two months down, ten to go. But no seriously … we’ve already gone through two months of this year. I’m hoping that once the excitement and eagerness to spear-head through to May (when I move) is over, time will slow down a bit.
I’ve been looking a lot more into building my own knowledge base around certain things, mostly online writing and marketing, for both my own interest and to help me with work. Some times I feel a bit lost but most of the time it’s intriguing, and I have fun doing it, and so I’ll likely continue more of that this week.
Hopefully, the weather gets cooler and a little drier. It’s starting to become proper unbearable, my skin is ripping itself apart. It’s hard to focus when it’s so muggy at my desk as well. My desk area is pretty cluttered still (around it more-so than on it; the desk itself is a lot better organised than it used to be) and so I might start packing a lot of the stuff around me, particularly because we’re getting closer to moving time.
I want to start drawing up some more solid goals as well. It’s been a while since I’ve had goals I’ve been trying to fulfil (and if you’ve seen the last year of my posts you’ll know why) and so I think it’s time to encourage a bit more productivity with some set goals. I’m going to try and lower my expectations a lot more than normal, so that I’m sure I’m setting realistic goals.
Come on autumn, let’s go. Bring on the beautiful colour palettes and cooler weather. I love that brown, orange aesthetic and just was to go out and roll around amongst the trees. Bring back coat weather!
