The last thing I posted was my Monday post when this month started … so, it’s worked out well then?

I feel better, and I’ve actually been writing a lot in the past three days, but I couldn’t bring myself to write a blog post apparently. The mind mush has been prosperous this last week.

I have a couple of things to do but there really isn’t anything significant coming up for me at the moment … unfortunately. I’m still waiting on this job offer, and I’ve been somewhat preparing for my graduation. My sister wants me to wear a gown … but gown shopping can get quickly painful, and I’m being more drawn to a blouse and pants. Which I’m not sure she agrees with.

I started writing something the other day and have spent a few hours on it on the days since. The best thing about this piece is that the plot forces me to think about several other projects I have, particularly my more treasured ones. I think I will post snippets of it on here. It could even be my “clean-up” project, something that I actually go through the process of creating and refining on here. Because the characters are so personal, I don’t have the same fear of sharing it and losing it.

I’m going to stretch, grab a coffee, review my to-do list (I think it’s the same one from last Monday …) and get started on the week.

Yeah, sharing snippets with us sounds fun. I’m always interested in other writers’ creative processes too, if you’re running dry on blog post ideas. Wishing you all the best with your WIPs!
