The humidity seems to be easing but it is still pretty close to being the thing I like least about living in Brisbane. I’ve been here for about ten years now, and you kinda get used to it but I can’t learn to love it. The heat isn’t my favourite, I prefer the comforts of the colder parts of the wheel. There is a small enjoyment I’ve come to use as a coping mechanism, and that’s merely the relief one experiences when entering an air-conditioned area or being washed (˘•‿•)
It does always surprise me when I find a way to greatly improve my writing process. I know that we’re ever evolving beings and if you continue to work on something you’re bound to find ways to improve, but it feels so triumphant and yet so simple that it surprises me. It’s also always super motivating and I end up getting so much done that I’m reminded that I can definitely do it!
Though last I wrote was Beltane and Lammas is now approaching, I have indeed been writing and growing in my own way. I have just been forgetting to write about writing! Something I quite enjoy when I’m able to make time for it. I have also started reading a novel. Now I just need to also make time for that amongst the dozens of webtoons I’m reading (。•̀ᴗ-)✧
I am having a fruitful harvest of writing, and I wish others the same!
