I have returned for another post! It’s the small achievements that we need to remember to give ourselves credit for. No marathon can be completed without the small steps (or sometimes strides) that go into it.

I have been reviewing the way I write and work a lot these past few weeks and I think I’ve started to get the ball rolling once again, but in a more suitable manner for me. I’m trying to focus more on leading the ball, rather than letting it roll where it wants until it gets away from me. A lot of people will tell you how to write, or how to learn how to write, but at the end of the day, you’re not meant to borrow their toolbox but just figure out how to make your own. And sometimes you find those tools from other parts of your life that are not even related to writing. And that’s what I’m figuring out right now.

I have began reframing it as an uphill battle, where I feel like I keep losing momentum. The ball is part of me, it is yarn, it is dough; it is what I will slowly turn into something amazing!
