I have been working on a wedding speech for an upcoming union that I am a groomsman in. It’s not really a speech, but more-so a fun poem. Remembering back in high school and primary school, I was good at writing speeches and terrified at performing them. If I could get in the right mind to actually ‘perform’ it’s not too bad, but I actually don’t know the majority of the people who will be attending the wedding, and so I decided that I can’t write a traditional speech. No one is going to know what I’m talking about, so I should at least give it the whimsy of being a rhyming poem. It’s a fun little writing project that I have going on at the moment.
