Not quite, but I think I have an idea.
There are still tasks falling into the “Overdue” section, but I’m also cleaning up more tasks than those falling so it’s looking pretty good this week (cue disaster). BUT, I am feeling good going into that, so that’s a plus … considering how much of a nightmare last Monday was.
This time, I actually have a to-do-ish-list.
Monday
- Cleaning/clearing the ClickUp boards: looking for where deadlines might need to be updated, where tasks have been completed but not marker off, adding any tasks that should be on there but I’ve forgotten about—taking some time to look in those floating boxes and get some memos out into ClickUp
- I have some project planning to get done for my third job: I’m going to also be practising writing “professional” “business” proposals
- Cleaning: light cleaning in the house, mostly just emptying bins and laundry etc.
- Shopping: need to go grocery shopping at one point, need to also plan a list that isn’t just snacks and can actually be turned into real food that I haven’t ordered
- Writing: focusing on getting some pages spat out or some editing. It’s an “either or” situation that depends on what I manage to get into
Tuesday
- First job
- Third job
- Skill research, looking at the different things that would benefit two of my jobs and finding out what I don’t know that I need to know
- Writing again: preparing entries for competitions and further polishing manuscripts that I may or may not try to submit. The “may or may not” because I’ll say “yeah, let’s do it!” and then I’ll go to do it and follow up with “no way, it’s nowhere near good enough” and it will go into a backburner pile … (◕‿◕)
- Adding a new task: work on writing confidence
- Writing more for the blogs, doing some proper brainstorming to get back to producing better work and actually updating projects I was working on. I.e. Just Making Things Up, writing notes on current projects
If you’ve read my previous posts, you might have noticed that this is literally copied and pasted from last Monday. Because that’s what life is like right now. A week on repeat. I need to go outside for a walk, do some cleaning and meditate, and then try and get stuck into it.
