This week has been fairly well. I’ve had a lot of good personal things happen, and though work has been busy, it has been good. I’m still finding myself in that room with all of the floating boxes, but that’s okay. I’m just taking it one step at a time.

The biggest progress I’ve made this week is that I’ve really started to own being non-binary (genderfluid is the term I’m currently identifying with). On Wear it Purple Day, I had some great talks with another non-binary person at work, and it just felt so freeing and validating. I’ve had the talk before with my partner, but being able to talk to someone who has been openly non-binary for years was great, and now they’re a source of support for me as I continue to find my way. I’ve figured out who I am, and it feels freeing, all that’s left is to explore my expression!

Yeah. So. August might be ending, and work might be coming to its busiest part of the year … but I feel good.

I also did some reading and writing and editing this week, and so that’s double points to me.
