Writing with gloves on is a one-finger-at-a-time kind of affair. But it can’t be helped for now, my fingers are just that cold. I’ve looked into fingerless gloves for writers but they’re a bit expensive for me right now, and I mean the good ones that aren’t actually fingerless and are made to be able to be used on touch-screens as well. Buying ordinary ones online isn’t really an option because even if they’re cheap, the shipping for them is expensive. And I do still want to try and knit my own. Knitting was just a little harder to get back into than I remembered.
Writing with these gloves on isn’t as hard as it was the first time. I’m even touch typing with minimal mistakes. But they feel very restrictive. They’re a fake leather pair I bought in Japan about five years ago, and perhaps my fingers are a bit thicker than they used to be. But … my fingers aren’t really any warmer … which is odd. Maybe I should get those little fingerless cat gloves that heat up … yeah, that sounds like something that I should have as a writer! Motivation, a keyboard, pen and paper, and some warm fingerless gloves!
