I have a stack of books waiting to be read and a stack of books that I started reading … and I bought a small stack from the Lifeline bookfest. And one of them speaks to me a lot more than the books I already have, and so I’ve started reading it. Is there a term for book adulterers?
The book I have neglected the other piles for is For Today I am a Boy, by Kim Fu. It was the title that caught me, and then the cover, and then the blurb. Just as a book should. I’m drawn into the writing style already, and the book isn’t that big, so hopefully I’ll be able to thunder through it and move back over to my pile of books sitting with their arms crossed.
