I think I reached my limit on Saturday. I spent Sunday either asleep, at the Lifeline bookfest or basically asleep at my desk. Mentally and physically, I was exhausted. Luckily, I feel a bit refreshed. And though it feels a little overwhelming at times, it does feel good to be doing things.

I got a good haul from the bookfest, not as great as I would have liked, but it was hard to concentrate and there were a LOT of people there. Half of my stack of books are maths textbooks for year 11 and 12, as I need to get the ball rolling on improving my knowledge in areas that I’m lacking. I want to know more and understand more, but I’m missing so many foundational study areas that it makes it hard. I missed a lot of schooling growing up, whether it was because I was bouncing to different schools, different states or because I wasn’t going.

I got some other general foundational research books and hope to put them to good use as well, along with some novels that have caught my eye but I haven’t picked up before. *looking at the huge pile of books I already own that I haven’t read* Don’t judge.

Now, onto the actual agenda.

The Agenda

This week is busy too. I’ll be doing extra hours for one of my jobs to get some priority material ready before the middle of the week, amongst other things. I’m also still working on figuring out the best schedule. It’s winter, and I’m not getting out of bed when I need to. I have a variety of projects planned, craft study and otherwise, and so will just be testing to see how much I can commit to a day/week.

Goals:

  • Learn how to crochet
  • Start knitting project
  • Have a coffee
  • Finish the first maths A chapter
  • Read
  • Writing Proposal: A Woman’s Conquest
  • Editing … maybe …

And writing, of course. Yes. Writing … hopefully.
