I think the fastest I can become irritable is when I get on a writing roll and people decide it’s the perfect time to try and grab my attention. Though I love them, I honestly think it’s one of the times I can probably come off as the meanest, because sometimes it’s hard to hide my lack of interest in what they have to say and my readiness to end the conversation and get back to my writing. I want to be dismissive, but when I’m writing, and I’m actually pumping out words, limit the number of times you approach me.
