I’ve recently given my blog a bit of a makeover (even though I have been neglecting actually posting on it), but when an email notification pops up from it, I find myself thinking “whose blog was that again? … oh, that’s mine …”

I’m teetering on the edge of being overwhelmed at the moment and so haven’t really been able to bring myself to write anything. I have also been busy as well, working and looking at rentals. Walking around the city to see multiple rentals in one day is quite tiring under the restless sun that’s spent a week behind clouds. I didn’t get too sunburnt (thanks to my Polynesian genes) but my partner is suffering quite a bit.

I’ve been writing a bit more and apparently my DMing skills are better when I just let myself ad-lib story things, so that was a boost. I have a pair of friends that want to read one of my works, but I haven’t yet figured out how to get the kinks in the plot out. It’s X, and because I decided to split the book, the pacing at the end is off compared to the rest of the novel, but I’m not sure yet how to fix that. I probably need to be doing some more brainstorming or even research on the scenes themselves. But that’s a project I haven’t been thinking of with moving in sight. I just want to move already! This house is literally falling apart around me. *sigh* It’s not that much longer now.

I think I might have to put a hiatus on blogging for the moment, to try and get a hold of myself right now. It’s not like I do it professionally or have an audience with expectations anyway, haha. I guess it just depends on what the next few weeks turn around with.
