This week has been all about the assignments, my internship and X and little else. I even cancelled DND so I could focus on the more important things at hand. I’ve changed around my desk a little to accommodate the things that was already on it but just stacked up in a weird pile of things that I look at and go ‘oh, that’s right’.

I have decided to stop tracking my words written for a couple of reasons, the main being that most of my work these days is not “recordable” and so it makes me feel like I haven’t done anything when I go to count everything. I do want to keep aiming for writing as much as I can but at the moment, measuring this when it’s not my priority is feels like extra stress. I’ve put in the amount of words that I’ve written on personal projects for this week but that’s all. I might even be switching over to fortnightly reflections rather than weekly.

Currently, my targets for the week are at:

  • 12,271 / 5,000 for “Personal Writing”

I don’t have a whole lot to add to this reflection because I’ve more or less covered everything in a previous post. All I can really say is that I have so much to do that I’m just forgetting everything that I need to do. You know that scene in Lilo & Stitch (if you don’t, that’s on you) when Stitch puts his feet in his mouth and rolls around on the floor? That’s me at the moment.

That’s my Writing Reflection for the week starting the 7th September 2020.
