I finished my first day of my internship today. I read some interesting work and am thinking that this is definitely the path I would like to take as a way of officially entering the industry after I graduate. I’m not yet sure of the quality of my reports but it was a good introduction into what I’ll be doing and once I receive feedback I can keep learning.

This week I have my literature review due and I need to complete my induction module for my internship. They’re both due tomorrow and I have to just refine the drafts at the moment. After that, I have to make sure I’m working on the next round of assignments due and keeping up with all of my other work.

I haven’t done any proper writing in a while and so want to make sure that I make time to do that this week. At the same time, I’ll be doing extra work for my Professional Development Journal, which I’m going to also be using as a log book for my internship work and hours.
