This week has been mostly about working on my lit-review and getting ready to start my internship. There were a couple of bumps int the road on the way but I’m hoping to get started tomorrow. I have two assignments due this coming week (one not graded).
Today I ran a pretty chaotic DND session that tested my patience in terms of not being able to quickly create content anymore. I stumbled a lot and had to take a few moments to collect myself but hopefully I’ll be able to work on bettering myself in that regard in the future. Though it was a bit hard, it is interesting just how much BS we can string together to make content for a world, even if it is just crazy in the end. Doing it on the spot is also exciting, especially when it produces something good, or at the very least, interesting.
Currently, my targets for the week are at:
- 501 / 5,000 for “Personal Writing”
- 3,425 / 2,500 for “Professional Writing”
So, I didn’t do a lot of normal writing, as you can see. I’m not currently interested in writing anything at the moment, and so it’s hard to force myself to put words down on the page unless it has a deadline that I’m being graded on. It’s mostly just been about taking notes or thinking about ideas recently, nothing tangible coming to mind to actually put down on paper (or in word).
That’s my Writing Reflection for the week starting the 10th August 2020.
