First things first, I must have actually posted quite a lot this month because it took me forever to scroll through and find what my original July Goals were. That’s either a good thing or a bad thing. It means more activity but hopefully it’s not just all of me mumbling and fumbling for post content.
For July, I wanted to write more and blog and edit better. I can confidently say that this didn’t happen. Going back to uni and work has not been as smooth as I would have liked and so I’ve found myself slightly overwhelmed this month. I have written what I want but haven’t made significant process on the old projects that I wanted to write. I need to have some raw brainstorming sessions that allow me to just spew everything out.
I didn’t do as many writing prompts as I would have liked/should have done and I haven’t done any editing work. I have had to edit my posts though, because no spell or grammar checker will work on them for some reason, and so if there are still typos, I apologise. I think I have done better with what I have been putting out there but I also think I still have a lot of room for improvement.
All in all, this month was definitely a step up compared to last month.
August Goals
I’ve made some progress in July and am hoping to build on the momentum that I am picking up and launch myself into August. I might not be doing as much writing as I want but I do need to pay attention on my university studies to make sure that I smoothly graduate at the end of the year.
For August, I don’t have any specific goals but more just building on my July goals and hopefully I’ll be able to have a much more positive reflection on how I spent the month.
I also need to READ MORE this month.
Another day, another week, another month!
