They bloom during the spring, cradling their contents through winter until they give birth to a spritley gift, a baby fey who might stumble around the petals, gathering them around themselves to protect their growing bodies, until they mature through summer and drop their petals in autumn, becoming gorgeoud glowing sprites that wander the forests, singing into the buds of magnoila flowers and breathing more magic into the world.
