If I asked you what NAIDOC stands for, would you know?

I spent a lot of NAIDOC weeks supporting it but merely assuming what ‘NAIDOC’ actually stood for. I know now and I do my best to show my solidarity and will do so again for the official week (which was postponed to later in the year). It’s always important to not just support something but understand it and why you should be supporting it.

Take a look at the history and the current theme and dates of NAIDOC Week by visiting http://www.naidoc.org.au. Educate yourself and understand the histories.

Make sure you’re learning from actual Indigenous Australian sources!

Details of the event can be found here: Clothing the Gap: NAIDOC Virtual March|Run

It’s not too late to still take your time to march/walk/run.
