I’ve just enrolled into my last units for the year and my degree. I’m doing a Writing Project, the last unit of my Indigenous Knowledge’s Minor, an internship and Psychology Foundations. The elective units that were available to me were either not in my line of interest or not available for the second semester. I want the last semester to go smoothly, especially because I have to do an internship and the thought of it is somewhat terrifying.
Looking at the available class times, my schedule is going to be a bit weird, especially because I’ll likely be going back to work when semester starts. So I’ll have that to think about as well, and the impending stress of my graduation and what lies beyond it. But it’s also exciting. I’ve already completed two years of this degree and yet it feels like I was just starting to get the hang of things. But I guess that’s how it works.
Semester starts mid-July but before then I’ll have to battle it out on the 6th July for class registration. My goals for this semester is to do well and to graduate! To survive mentally and physically and attend that ceremony where my siblings will be proud of me. I will get that expensive piece of paper and hopefully it will give me a leg up on my writing journey.
