This week was good. The second half at least. I didn’t hit all of my targets but I did complete most of my tasks. Most of the time was dedicated to uni meetings and work. I also finished reading one of the books on my list (finally) but it turns out it was from my side-focused reading list and not my focus reading list. Ah well. It was The Secret River that I finished. I’ll write something about it later. If I remember after the whirlwind of a week that’s coming up.

I’ve been finishing tasks on my May Goals list and the time I’ve spent on them has replaced the time I usually spend on just writing. With Covid19 restrictions easing, I’ve also been trying to catch up with my siblings and take a break.

Currently, my targets for the week are at:

  • 5,593 / 10,000 for “Personal Writing”
  • 5,672 / 5,000 for “Professional Writing”

There isn’t too much to add because I’m pretty burnt out at the moment… not that it’s not my own fault.  I’m getting there though. I’ve finished a pack of Mothers in the past few days and I’m ready to finally do these presentations and then tackle the last few assignments so I can move on to other things that also need my attention. This week, schedules, task lists, Mother, Study with Me videos, ASMR videos and chocolate have been my friends.

After Wednesday, I just have a reflection, manuscript and four critiques to do and then I’m done for the semester.

That’s my Writing Reflection for the week starting the 18th May 2020.
