My schedule for my Situated Creative Practice project finally dropped and it has made my timetable for the next few months a little chaotic. Luckily, my work is really flexible when it comes to putting in availability and one of my other units is directly related to the project, but the not-knowing always makes me nervous. There are a lot of activities scheduled, not all with times, and they’re also subject to change. Let’s just hope that I can keep up and the table doesn’t get flipped, just shook if it needs to be.

There will be regular meetings on Mondays (I think) and two overnight stays at the place my project is involved with. I didn’t expect to spend four nights there in a row but it makes sense. This post probably only makes half sense because of how vague about my project I’m being, but I’m not entirely sure about the privacy of the project and so will only go as far to say that it is a project that is designed to allow us to explore intradisciplinary methods of working on a creative project whilst helping younger students explore their own creative freedom as well as our Creative Industries.

200 hours is the expected workload for this project, and I’m guessing that half of that is made up of the five days-four nights stay at the project site. I don’t know anyone else on the project aside from two of the project supervisors, but hopefully, I’ll do better at making either ‘friends’ or ‘friendly acquaintances’. Something to get me through the project. I don’t know if any of the others are from the same discipline as me yet. They kind of scattered to the wind when the supervisors left us to talk amongst ourselves… or I was just too distracted talking to Julie that I separated for them and no one noticed. I’m still not a hundred percent sure what my role in the project is but I’m hoping to get an idea of it on the upcoming field trip.

My calendar right now looks like a mess. It kind of makes me miss having a contracted retail job… only a little bit. The structure of it made it easier to look at what time I had around it.

Is it not enough coffee or not enough time? Arghhhh.

My neck, my back, everything just hurts everywhere. Talk to you later.
