With Orientation Week over, the semester finally begins. I don’t actually have class until Tuesday but I’ll be going into proper preparation mode tomorrow so that I’m ready for each of the lectures. I have a feeling that this semester is going to be much harder than the previous ones because it’s going to be a different format of learning for the project units.
I have insofar been able to restrain myself from buying stationery but I don’t know how long that seal will last, especially because I’m not sure what kind of notebook I should have for the projects. Will I need an official writing journal that gets handed in? Or will it be like lecture notes and writing notes on the side? I’ll know by the end of the week I guess.
I’m hoping to maintain my GPA and graduate smoothly. I’m going into the semester with nerves but also confidence because I’m really going to need it.
I got this! I can do it!
[Fake it ’till you make it]
I’m hoping to continue balancing work, uni and my normal writing this semester. I don’t want to fall off the writing wheel like with the previous two years of the degree and so I’ll be trying hard to keep it going. With that said, however, I’m going to prioritise my uni work because it’s the most important at the moment. Once the year is done (granted that I graduate) I can funnel that focus to my normal writing (including my blog posting).
Hopefully, my posts don’t slowly descend into madness throughout the weeks of the semester. I hope that I have a good semester and I hope that you have a good semester!
Happy writing!
