I’ve just come back from a road trip recently. I’d never been on a road trip before but I planned it for a long time with my younger brother and sister. What we ended up doing was a little different from our original, and even final, plans but it was successful and satisfying. It was great. I want to go again but this time with my partner. It had been years since the last time I remembered camping and I hadn’t been more south than Kempsey for almost twelve years (that I can honestly recall because let’s face it: my memory is trash).

The road trip went from the 20th of November – 2nd of December. We originally planned to go until the 4th of December so that the drive home would be in small chunks but we ended up driving from Melbourne to Brisbane in two days. I now have an assortment of magnets on my fridge and shirts and other souvenirs.

I’m going to detail each day and show some of the photos I took but for the purposes of safety and privacy, I won’t post anything with my or my siblings’ faces so some of the photos may be limited. Also, none of them are filtered. I don’t like using filters on photos and wanted to show Australia naked.

So that’s the most basic breakdown of the trip. Each day will probably be its own post because a lot (mostly shenanigans) went on. I’ll also be posting some pictures because this is going to double as practice Travel Writing or Memoir-or-something. I also want to give information about the places we went to in order to put more out there for anyone researching whether or not to visit. Like mini-reviews. I think that comes under Travel Writing? Maybe I need to pay attention more in class ╮(︶▽︶)╭  (my GPA is actually amazingly 5.62. Now that might be a lot or might not be a lot but for me who’s… well, me… I’m pretty impressed with myself).

See you in my next post, Broom Broom.
