Roundtable Rival, Lindsey Stirling
Lisanna Ruven Wolfe is one of the prettiest and nicest girls you could meet in the town of Southern Forx. Being in a sanctuary zone, her benevolence is always a welcome change from the warring cowboys and pirates that roam outside of the Forx High Wall. Her hair is long and thick, like a river of black travelling down to her hips. It curls and glimmers, leading many to wonder if she uses secret oils on it. Her body appears slender under her layers of ruffled pastel colours, never one for deep and bursting patterns on her dresses. Her face is a little angular, framed gently by her hair and her skin is the colour of well raised chestnuts. Her eyes are a little abnormal when you look at her up close. They are a little sharper than the other women’s, reminding people of the cats that occasionally follow her around the town. Her eye colour is a gorgeous stormy grey that is uncommon in the Forx area, which only adds to her appeal. But despite being somewhat of a target for the eyes of men, Lisanna isn’t the type to allow them to treat her as a plaything or feed off of their attention. Her cunning words and intelligence keep them at a standing point with only those with friendly intentions allowed near her inner circles.
Outside of Lisanna’s appearance, she is a well-rounded and educated young lady. Her knowledge surpasses that of many who wander near the Rose Block, where you would find her most hours of the day. Her beginnings are not known by many but her future is often talked about by her friends and followers. Her life’s investment is in the lives of the orphans of Southern Forx. All she seems to desire is to complete her renovations of the old Auxbury Mansion behind the Rose Block. She bought it some years back and has been working on it ever since with plans to turn it into a large home for the suffering youth of Southern Forx. Many have speculated how she has come into this fortune, wondering if she has come from a wealthy family from outside of the Forx area as she detests ‘fast cash’ employment such as robbery and gambling. Order, peace and love are what underpin her morals and is what created her nickname: the Rosette Wolf. Any who have a problem is welcomed with open arms by Lisanna, with no one she won’t stand up to, not even the pirates and not even the cowboys. She’s a no-nonsense lady with a strong sense of loyalty and conviction and a tinkle of a laugh.
In Southern Forx, Lisanna is often favourably compared to the Scarlet Witch, a woman whom many speak ill of. ‘Unlike our Rosette Wolf’ is how many of the conversations would go. Many worry for Lisanna’s notoriety as a good woman and pray that her good deeds and nature wouldn’t make her a target of the Scarlet Witch. The Scarlet Witch is a lean woman of long red hair, and murky eyes. Her skin is said to be pale in the moonlight and she wears the remains of a legendary pirate’s clothing. Armed with two pistols that never miss their target and boots that you can hear the struts from about a mile away. A woman with a smirk as deadly as the devil’s and a heart of liquid hatred. She ghosts the walls of Forx, killing many in her sights, namely pirates, cowboys and bands of unruly men but despite this ‘community service’ her cackling laugh and ruthlessness is feared throughout Forx. ‘You watch out for that red hair’ some would say to young Lisanna who, even with her brains, was deemed no match for the foxy Scarlet Witch. ‘A woman like that’d pluck you like a daisy’.
Many discuss what could happen if the two women met at the same table. Some think that Lisanna is a kind and charming enough soul that not even the Scarlet Witch would be able to stare her down or kill her. Others think that there is no-one deadly enough to consider killing their Rosette Wolf with the only exception being the Scarlet Witch. The image that most of them agree on is that of the pair sitting at a round table in Eddie’s Saloon, one on either side. The Scarlet Witch would be leaning back in her chair with one leg over the other and her arms crossed as her shudder-inducing smirk peeked out from underneath her captain’s hat. On the other side would be Lisanna, upright with her hands in her lap and her expression polite but her eyes already preparing against the threat to her town. The dark coat of a murdering pirate and the primp and proper gentle yellow dress. Others like to think that the pair would equal each other out and that it isn’t such a far off thought that maybe they would sit at the table and play cards.
The Scarlet Witch and the Rosette Wolf. A woman of charity and a woman of bounty. Just like two sides of a coin and, unbeknown to the area of Forx, they are indeed the same coin.
