There’s something about cleaning that’s refreshing. It takes so long to build up the motivation to do but it’s not as bad as we imagine it to be. It’s not so simple either. You can do a bad job. There are things you might forget or miss or just plain don’t know about. It is a potential skill. That’s why there are people who get paid to do it. Something about seeing something dirty and then having it cleaned is fun and satisfying. Especially when they’re clean wipes. Like you’re doing a Cinderella spell on them. I love doing windows and mirrors. Seeing them so clear is pretty amazing. Unfortunately, I’m too short to do the windows in my house properly and so the ordeal is a lot more tiring and frustrating than it needs to be. I’ve bought extendable wipers and everything but I still can’t get the tops and corners (the windows look out over descending stairs and so I can never get the outside as nice as I would like). Sometimes I wonder if I’m purposely leaving some common things to be dirty to get the better sense of satisfaction from cleaning them after a long time.
