Book List: Classics by Women

International Women’s Day is tomorrow and today I’m looking at building a list of classics written by women. Luckily, I found a great list that has diversity in both authors and content: https://bookriot.com/100-must-read-classics-by-women/

The list gives great briefs on each books and is worth checking out if you’re looking to expand your reading into with the theme in mind. There are 100 books on the list and I’ve only read four

I’m using this list directly to create a “Women’s Classics” book list to draw from when building reading lists.

I will be building another list of books written by women that is more general and/or modern. This list will be easier to build as I have a poor idea of what a “classic” is and so rely on others for that (^_^;). Recently, I’ve been recommended I Who Have Never Known Men by Jacqueline Harpman and it sounds intriguing and will be the first on the list.
